Question by prometheamoth: How to put carpeting over cork floating floor?
We love our whole-house floating cork floor. But I would like to put carpet over it in 3 rooms. What is the best way to do this? I don’t want tack strips nailed into our cork! And the cork is not supposed to have anything with plastic (or rubber?) backing over it. I was thinking of doing large edge-bound remnants, but the backing of the carpet might scratch the cork…

try felt backed carpet it can be secured using a velcro like strip or just cut to the edges as it is felt you will not scratch the cork you can also use a few staples to secure the carpet witch will not have a big impact on the floor
