Question by jd: What is the best cleaner for linoleum floors? Steam cleaner? Cleaning product? or a Brand of an appliance?
I purchased a bissell flipit and a hoover floormate. Neither did anything for my linoleum floors. I have the floors with all thecracks and crevices. I want to find either another Appliance brand, cleaning solution, or can someone recommend a good steam cleaner and tell me if I should just go with the steamer all together and forget the hard floor cleaning products.

Question by d_rice1979: Remove laminante wood flooring glued to linoleum on wood sub-floor?
We’re having tile installed in 500 square toes of kitchen / hallway next week. I’ve begun prying up the laminate wood flooring and found that it was glued directly to the vinyl / linoleum floor. The linoleum appears to simply rest on the wooden sub-ground (not glued), however cannot say for sure as a result of I’ve only removed a small section of the wood. Any suggestions on one of the simplest ways to take away the wood laminate & linoleum so the ground is absolutely ready for tile set up? All baseboards, toe and door casings have already been removed and there isn’t any have to salvage the wood floor we’re removing.

I like mine. It was very easy to put in, reasonably priced and you may’t tell it isn’t wooden unless you look real close. The kind I purchased was so durable, we tried to destroy and discolor a chunk and couldn’t. Get a thick decent grade and enjoy. Oh I failed to say I also put the same flooring in my restaurant (industrial kitchen). Good luck

One square yard is the same area as nine square feet. So, using a simple conversion factor, 12 square yards would total 108 tiles each 12 inches square.

Question by : Do you have to glue mahogany under lay to sub floor, before laying linoleum?
I have laid a subfloor. And, I have laid 1/8″ mahogany over it in order to lay linoleum. Do I need to glue the mahogany to the subfloor? And with what?
